Dennis Storrod is the vice chair of Bringing Hope.  He is Managing Director of ID Security Systems Ltd, a company he founded in 2006.  Dennis brings insights on business to the board.  He is also an integral part of  the 12/8 group, a peer-to-peer business mentoring initiative for those in small firms. He has vision and expertise in supporting ex-offenders into self employment.

Grace Alalade is the Chair of Bringing Hope and also assists with branding and marketing. Grace is the business process improvement and change manager for Shell International Petroleum Company. She has skills in organisation design, continuous improvement, change management and project management. She has experience engaging with stakeholders, providing reporting and managing issues and risks. She has also designed and delivered communications at programme and project level.

Heidi Bentley is jointly responsible for ensuring the work of Bringing Hope is effectively monitored and evaluated. She is a youth and community development worker currently working with Urban Devotion and the Cinnamon Network. Previous roles include working for Street Pastors, TLG The Education Charity, Sutton Coldfield YMCA. She also assisted Vanti with their award-winning AV installation at the new Library of Birmingham. Heidi is the co-founder and co-director of The Congo Tree, a charity training and equipping young leaders in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is on the site leadership team of her church and also runs a small business in her spare time.

Iasha Spencer has  over 7 years of management experience with a vast knowledge in strategic planning.

Sally Bateman is treasurer of Bringing Hope and leads on finance and funding.  Prior to her retirement she worked in the voluntary sector for more than  20 years offering financial and fundraising advice and preparing accounts. As well as being on the Board of Bringing Hope she is chair of governors of Edith Cadbury Nursery School, chair of  W.A.I.T.S. (Women Acting in Todays Society) and treasurer of Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham.

Marvin Thomas  is jointly responsible for ensuring the work of Bringing Hope is effectively monitored and evaluated. He brings to the board computing and multimedia skills. He is a  computer analyst who has worked in the computing field for 10 years.  He is passionate about God and music and committed to seeing young people succeed in life and come to a personal belief in Christ. Marvin is a man of integrity who is willing and able to speak up and contribute ideas to support Bringing Hope. He also makes cakes.
