STAFFORDSHIRE AND WEST MIDLANDS PROBATION SERVICE

 

Bringing Hope works in partnership with the Staffordshire and West Midlands Probation Service. This is what one of the probation officers said about Bringing Hope’s work.

 

"The person that I am supervising I entrust him into the hands of people who have their best interests at heart. For example, Bringing Hope have been working with one of the people that I have been supervising and I see a fundamental change in this person.

 

The young man, he now feels that he is a human being and that is mainly because Bringing Hope have tapped into the inner person and have brought out the best in this young man.

 

He feels that he is a part of society; he feels that he is a human being and not just a number. He feels that as a man there is a hope for him and that he can sort of come back out into the community.

 

He can achieve and he can start his life over again. He doesn’t feel as if he is a bad person even though he has done things that he shouldn’t. He knows that he needs to change, which he has done through just the words and through the encouragement and the support that Bringing Hope has given to him."
