Profile: Life
for the World
Life For The
World began almost
as a response
to needs within
the London area,
where rough sleepers,
and drugs users
were becoming
more noticed
by the general
public. Four
decades on, and
LFTW remains
committed to
working across
the UK with thousands
of addicts, their
friends, families
and projects
who work alongside
them - offering
training, partnerships,
support and advice.
Robin Rolls
was appointed
as the Executive
Director for
Life For The
World in January
2007. Formerly
he was the Adviser
on Youth Ministry
for 3 Bishops
of Birmingham
and has been
involved in youth
work since about
1990.
He
says: “I
think Life For
The World is
a highly significant
organisation,
and in the next
few years we
are hoping to
gradually increase
our profile throughout
the UK. Currently
we are the only
organisation
of our kind offering
high quality,
accredited training,
workshops, and
half day / evening
seminars to those
working in this
area.”
The website
