Training News update

In an effort to continually deliver good quality and informed work Bringing Hope is spearheading some positive developments, which will add value and distinctiveness to the Bringing Hope training package for churches and individuals.

By the end of the process, we are anticipating the following outcomes:

  • The delivery of training sessions based in churches
  • A well-rounded, robust and fulfilling training package which will bring impact to our city, families, young people, churches and individuals – including yourself
  • An after care support package for churches to adopt when helping the broken-hearted and those affected by issues stemming from social exclusion

To help us in shaping and defining the training package Jane Chevous and Jonathan Gurling have been recruited by Bringing Hope to take this work forward. They are very experienced in their work and above all committed to the vision of Bringing Hope and to seeing a wider church response to issues of disaffection and social exclusion.

In the last month they have been speaking to young people, church leaders and the community to help identify what a church response should be, how it should look and how it would meet the differing needs. Results of this questionnaire will be available later on in the year when the training package is completed. If you would like to offer some suggestions or thought please feel free to email us and we will send to you a questionnaire to complete.

Keep us all in your prayers as we go through this process and we look forward to sharing the good news with you in the coming months.
